Cullinan is a quaint little village east of Pretoria. It is home to the Cullinan Diamond mine, also known as the Premier Diamond Mine. The world’s biggest diamond – (3106 carat) was discovered here and it now forms part of the Queen’s crown jewels. Here you can enjoy a 1.5 to 2 hour surface tour of the mine and even buy a diamond from the source. A tour of the underground working mine can be arranged.

Underground tours run from Monday to Friday at 10.30 and last 4.5 hours. The cost is R1790 per person. No children under 16.
