Located in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, the Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve spans 1,200 hectares and is home to over 650 animals from more than 25 species, including antelope, big game, predators, and birds. The reserve also protects several rare and endangered species, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience wildlife up close.

A visit to the Rhino and Lion Park offers the opportunity to see many of Africa’s wild animals within an hour’s drive of Johannesburg. Located in the Cradle of Humankind this nature reserve is home to 600 head of game. There is also a vulture hide which provides excellent photo opportunities. Should you be interested you can have your photograph taken with a lion cub.
Nearby are the Wonder Caves which are but one of the many fossil-bearing cave series in the Cradle of Humankind. The dolomitic hills in this area are 2.6bn years old – more than half the age of the Earth itself. We will take an hour long tour to see natural underground formations which are between 5 and 10 million years old.
